About: 

Study advisor Elke owner of Studie revolutie was looking for ways to promote her service . For this she was looking for a flyer that she could hang in schools and a postcard that she can spread around instead of a business card. For this, she approached me as an intern for WATcompany. During the briefing, Elke emphasized to keep in mind her corporate identity and the target group (young people who get stuck in their studies).

 

From there I came up with 3 concepts, each with a different tone of voice (way of communicating to the target group). Usually, every brand/company already has a tone of voice, but because it was not yet established for Elke I had the opportunity to experiment with this. With concept 1 (first 2 images on the top left) I applied a confronting tone of voice with a large printed statement, with concept 2 a somewhat school-like tone of voice with a test question on both the poster and postcard, and with concept 3 I applied the tone of voice from the target group itself with the use of emojis and the same way of speaking. Elke has opted for concept 3 and was printed and used as advertisements. Success!
