Logo Zombielane
About: During the project hours at school, we work on different assignments every period. The scenario presented to us this time was to create a concept for an event in Eindhoven and design the branding for it. My concept was Zombielane: A street full of actors dressed as zombies to make visitors experience what it feels like to be in the world of the famous blockbusters.
The design: The eye in the O represents the eye of the zombie, and the M next to it avoids the eye. This refers to the reaction of the visitor when confronted with a zombie. See the hand lettering process above, from sketch to finish.
Client: School assignment
About: I designed this logo for my illustration-oriented company (formerly Pathalo). Later the name was changed and this logo is no longer in use. I am still satisfied with the end result, this was one of the first logos where I applied the hand-lettering technique. Now, hand lettering has become my favourite logo design method.
The design: Pathalo is the name of a bluish hue (pathalo blue). This colour can be seen in the background of the logo painted on paper. The purpose of the logo was to portray a crafty and traditional feel.

Logo My Aura

About: During the project hours at school, we carry out different assignments every period. The scenario presented to us this time was to come up with a concept for an event in Eindhoven and design the branding for it. My concept was My Aura: A few tents in the middle of the centre with Aura reading cameras. In this way, visitors can have their Aura read and learn more about it.
The design: The eyelashes on the A give character to the logo. The A refers to the eye of the camera. The magenta colour stands for spirituality.

The letters are painted on paper, later scanned and edited digitally. I did this by finger painting the letters because I prefer work with my hands in the traditional way, with paper and tangible materials.
