About: 

The rehabilitation facility NovadicKentron has discovered a problem: The view of their care providers on the patients. They had come up with a way to tackle this best: Organising a theatrical play as a gift for employees but also as an eye-opener. To promote this play NovadicKentron approached DeStudio ( back then my internship company) And I was allowed to get started with this solo assignment.

I made 3 sketches for the flyer. The first 2 were ultimately very unoriginal predictable ... that was not the goal of the play at all. I started to look at it from a different point of view and came up with a sketch of a group of people where everyone looked very similar, but one was wearing a slightly redder shirt. In this sketch, it was not emphasized that the addict was different, but that he/she is still perceived as different. Later I had more people face the left direction. By that adjustment, the addict became more part of the crowd. After positive feedback, I continued working on the sketch. I experimented with colour, placement of elements and photo manipulation until I came to the desired end result.

The design was printed on flyers, invitations and ultimately on banners in the theatre (see image on the left)

Long story short, assignment completed successfully!
